Auto Deblocking Upgrade for the SD-Basic
LabPlant UK is pleased to introduce the Auto Deblocker for the SD-Basic Spray Dryer.
Available as an upgrade for all new SD-Basic units, LabPlant’s Automatic DeBlocker mitigates the chance of blockage, and allows autonomous running, letting your aqueous operations run smoothly, and freeing up your hands.
For existing SD Basic Spray Dryers, the Upgrade is not available as it has to be added upon creation.

Spray Drying Trials with LabPlant
In addition to Spray Dryers for sale, LabPlant UK provides Spray Dryer Trials. Rather than buy a Spray Dryer straight away, you can test your product’s compatibility with the Spray Drying process for a smaller fee. The Spray Drying Trial is great for companies wanting to trial before committing to the purchase of a Spray Dryer.
Located on the North Yorkshire Coast, an hour away from York, LabPlant is happy to welcome visitors from across the UK to their workshop to view the trial, allowing a unique opportunity to watch the compatibility process of their product with Spray Dryer Testing.
For international companies, or UK ones content to not observe the trial, we can accept 2x one-litre sealed bottles of a prepared solution, with approximately 20% solids concentration. As a rule of thumb, the consistency shouldn’t be thicker than double cream. The product must be non-hazardous, and supplied with an MSDS sheet, if applicable.
Due to the nature of the experiment, the first bottle of solution is used to gauge the settings for the Laboratory Spray Dryer SD-06 (capable of processing aqueous and solvent based products). As this is a trial, kindly note that there will be no recoverable powder from the first run. For the second trial, the product will hopefully be recovered, and we will be able to gauge the suitability of your product for the spray drying process.
As a Spray Dryer supplier and manufacturer, we have extensive experience with the process, but please note that during the spray drying trials we can not guarantee that the solution will be able to be spray dryed with the resulting powder returned.
